OMG- AWESOMENESS! When I took my first bite I could not believe they were gluten free. The crackers are so light and fluffy with a buttery flavor like a club cracker, yum! The peanut butter is smooth and creamy with the perfect flavor. I wish they would make a box of just the crackers for the times I don't want peanut butter. They do have cheese sandwich crackers too but I haven't tried them yet. So far I have only found these at HEB my fellow Texans. For you out of staters, Amazon has them just follow the link. If you try these, please let me know what you think. Also, if you find something you want me to try leave a comment. Hope you have a great day :)

Welcome to my blog:)
Hello there fellow gluten free enthusiasts!
I have been gluten free since July 14, 2009. It's pretty crazy I remember that date when I am horrible at remembering dates but my life was superbly changed that day so ..... here's the scoop. I was feeling really crappy for a normally quite healthy person so I went to the Doctor, he said I was dehydrated. I thought that diagnosis to be ridiculous so I went to another Doctor who said I was perfectly healthy and couldn't find anything, argh! So I tried another Dr. and another and you get the picture. Finally one Doctor said I was lactose intolerant, hmm. I tried the diet and felt worse, huh?! Then a co-worker said his brother felt terrible and found out he was allergic to gluten so I should try that diet. I did. WOW!! I did not realize that my stomach hurt all the time, pretty much my whole life, but I was so used to it that I didn't notice until it was gone. I feel great now but miss Oreos so bad I can't even express it.
The first time I went gluten free grocery shopping was a 3 hour tour, for 3 items-no lie!! Back in those days there were no GF labels to guide you, just ingredient labels with crazy things listed like red number 40 that who would suspect could contain gluten. I wanted to run away screaming, how was I going to live this new life where I had to know that hydrolyzed wheat protein is in most shampoo so it would be really hard to find a GF shampoo let alone a GF salad dressing! So I super simplified, meat, veges, fish and fruit only. Whew! Easy.
Then something super awesome happened....gluten free diets became popular or recognized as an actual thing... not sure the exact reason but I for one could not be happier, WooHoo! Now I can grocery shop in minutes by heading to the gluten free section and grabbing some granola, that I missed so terribly, and be on my way. The only drawback is that some of these gluten free items can taste like cardboard, seriously! So sometimes I am shy to try new items. A couple days ago I was in the GF section and there was a lady holding some crackers I have wanted to try for a while. I asked her what they tasted like and she said good, like "real" crackers. And that my friends is how I got the idea to start this blog. I loved that I had an opinion of a real person before I risked eating cardboard and thought you would too. So I am going to share with you new awesome GF prepackaged food and would love it if you would too. Let me know if you find something interesting that you want to try but haven't and I will test it out for you.
